STAAR Reading Recursive Review

This STAAR Reading review resource provides 18 weeks of recursive review for the STAAR Reading test.

It is excellent as a daily review. For instance, it works well as a warm-up, homework, or small group tutoring.

Each week includes a short passage (genres include fiction, nonfiction, poetry, drama).  There is one question for each day focusing on an essential reading skill. For example: summary, unknown words, specific skill practice, inference, and short answer.

As you can see, this resource is an excellent way to consistently review STAAR question stems from January to May!

First, student reading the passage together. Each passage (fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and paired passage) has 6 to 8 questions.  Then students can answer together with their group.
